Analysis of Factors Affecting the Quality of Tumor Nursing Teaching and Countermeasures
Sha Wu
There are numerous factors infuencing the quality of tumor nursing education, including the lack of professional tumor nursing teachers, weak practical teaching components, and insuffcient understanding of tumor nursing among students. The absence of professional teachers leads to diffculties in delving into teaching content, while weak practical teaching components make it challenging for students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical skills. Moreover, students' inadequate understanding of tumor nursing affects their learning interests and motivation. In response to these issues, a series of countermeasures are proposed, including optimizing teaching content, strengthening faculty construction, and enhancing publicity of tumor nursing education. These measures aim to improve teaching quality, stimulate students' interest in learning and practical abilities, and cultivate more tumor nursing professionals with professional competence.

Effectiveness and Safety of Combined Chemotherapy and Biological Targeted Therapy in the Treatment of Breast Cancer
Qi-Yu Zhao
Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of combined chemotherapy and biological targeted therapy in breast cancer patients. Methods: Atotal of 72 patients diagnosed with breast cancer confrmed by pathological examination and hospitalized from February 2023 to February 2024 were selected. They were randomly divided into two groups using systematic randomization: control group (n = 36) and observation group (n = 36). The control group received chemotherapy, while the observation group received combined chemotherapy and biological targeted therapy. The incidence of complications and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower compared to the control group (11.11% vs. 30.56%, P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in quality of life indicators between the two groups before treatment (P > 0.05). However, after treatment, the quality of life scores in the observation group were signifcantly higher compared to the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Combined chemotherapy and biological targeted therapy in breast cancer patients have remarkable effects in improving local recurrence, preventing distant metastasis, and enhancing overall quality of life with high safety. This approach holds signifcant value for reference and promotion.

Jing-Fen Han, Li-Mei Zhang, Xia Du
Objective: To analyze the application effectiveness of ultrasound in the diagnosis and treatment of pleural diseases. Methods: A study was conducted on 80 patients with pleural diseases in our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024. All 80 patients were pathologically confrmed and underwent X-ray/ultrasound examination. Among them, 38 cases underwent syringe aspiration therapy, included in the control group, and 42 cases underwent central venous catheterization therapy, included in the observation group. The clinical effcacy of the two groups was compared. Results: The detection rates and specifcities of chest wall tumors and pleural effusions were basically consistent between the two examination methods (P > 0.05). The ultrasound examination showed significantly higher rates of detection for empyema, pleural adhesions/thickening, pleural effusion, overall detection rate, diagnostic accuracy, and sensitivity compared to X-ray (P < 0.05). The treatment success rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the rates of symptom relief and mortality were signifcantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion: Ultrasound examination can effectively detect various types of pleural diseases. It is recommended to use central venous catheterization, which shows more signifcant effcacy.

Early Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies for Prostate Cancer
De-Jun Hu
Prostate cancer, as a common malignant tumor in males, requires preventive measures and early screening to reduce the incidence rate and improve treatment outcomes. For high-risk groups such as men with a family history, specifc racial backgrounds, or advanced age, it is recommended to start prostate cancer screening at the age of 45 or 10 years earlier than the earliest onset age in the family. Screening methods include PSA testing, digital rectal examination (DRE), and more precise imaging tests. For the general population, prostate cancer screening is typically initiated at the age of 50, with a screening frequency of once a year, primarily using PSAtesting and DRE. Additionally, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, such as balanced diet, moderate exercise, and avoiding smoking and alcohol, can also help reduce the risk of prostate cancer. Regular screening and a healthy lifestyle can effectively prevent the occurrence of prostate cancer and enable early treatment of detected lesions, thereby improving patient survival rates and quality of life.
