Abstract

Light sport aircraft generally refers to single-seat or two-seat light aircraft with a take-off weight of less than 600 kg. With the characteristics of simple structure and low price, it has developed rapidly in recent years. One of the key points in the design and manufacture of light sport aircraft is to reduce the cost of structure manufacture. Therefore, composite materials are widely used. It not only reduces the weight of aircraft structure, but also reduces the cost. Combined with the structural characteristics of light sport aircraft, the material manufacturing process is analyzed, and the application of different processes in light sport aircraft is compared to determine the best manufacturing process plan.
