Abstract

This paper explores the application and impact of artifcial intelligence technology in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). By reviewing specific applications of AI in GIS, it analyzes technological innovations and practical benefits in data processing, remote sensing image processing, and spatial data mining. It also identifes various challenges AI-GIS integration faces and proposes solutions. Finally, the paper summarizes and forecasts future developments of AI-GIS integration in smart cities, multi-source data fusion, and augmented reality.
