Abstract

Against the backdrop of deepening vocational education, vocational English teaching has become a crucial aspect in cultivating students’ international perspective and professional competence. This paper delves into the significance of vocational English teaching modes, identifying numerous challenges currently faced,such as the rigidity of traditional teaching methods and the disconnection between theory and practice. Based on this analysis, the paper proposes optimization strategies for teaching modes that are student-centered and closely integrated with practice, aiming to unleash students’ learning potential, enhance their English pro¿ciency,and improve their overall quality, thus contributing to the innovative development of vocational education.
