Abstract

Comprehensive thinking is a key component of the core literacy in geography, requiring students to understand the geographical environment from dimensions such as element integration, spatio-temporal integration, and local integration. At present, high school geography teaching is confronted with problems such as fragmented knowledge, lack of spatio-temporal perspectives, and fixed thinking patterns, which restrict the cultivation of comprehensive thinking. Based on the definition of the connotation of comprehensive thinking, this paper analyzes the problems in teaching practice and proposes five strategies: constructing a knowledge network, applying the perspective of spatio-temporal evolution, creating real problem situations, introducing regional comparison methods, and optimizing the design of classroom questions. It also explores the guarantee conditions from three dimensions: teacher ability, teaching resources, and evaluation system, providing a reference for the implementation of core literacy cultivation.
